about the problems of alcohol and other drug abuse. Explores
symptoms and effects of abuse and dependence on individuals,

use with emphasis on classifications, uses, and routes of
administration, dosages, interactions, incompatibilities and
side effects. Emphasizes the 50 most commonly prescribed drugs
listed in Pharmacy Times. Addresses special precautions, legal
aspects, patient education, and preparation and administration
