Annual Meeting with Kevin Wanzer, June 1, 2012 in Greenwood, Indiana!
In1983, Kevin Wanzer has been noted as being able to
‘reach the unreachable’. His “A.L.O.HA!” message has energized and
empowered countless young lives at hundreds of conferences and
thousands of schools and campuses in nearly all 50 states, Canada,
Europe, Singapore & China. As a sophomore at North Central High School in Indianapolis,
Kevin founded a student group that would educate and mentor
elementary students. That was the launching pad he needed to attract
the attention of The White House and a variety of national
programs who began inviting Kevin to speak to their schools and
conferences. As a junior in high school, Kevin was an appointee to the White
House conference for a Drug Free America and is, to this day, one
of the youngest appointees in our nations history. Kevin was even
invited, as the guest of then First Lady Nancy Reagan, to address the
United Nations. A former staff member for the David Letterman Show
in New York City and an honors graduate of Butler University in
Indianapolis, Kevin has spent his life inspiring young people to live life
to its fullest. To look within and be a role model to themselves and to
embrace and live the aloha spirit - focusing on attitude, loving
yourself and others, overcoming obstacles and having a sense of humor. Kevin lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to
delivering his message, Kevin has contributed to a series of books written
for middle school, high school and beyond. His children’s book, “Choose
To Love” is now available nationwide. He is a member of the National
Speakers Association (NSA), where he has earned the designation of
Certified Speaking Professional. The CSP is an earned designation
awarded by the NSA and the International Federation for Professional
Speakers to recognize demonstrated commitment to the speaking profession through proven speaking experience. Fewer than 10% of the thousands of speaking professionals worldwide hold this
designation.
